Questions
How long do sessions last?
Sessions last for up to 60 minutes. Some people feel improvements in as few as 6 sessions, although sessions usually continue beyond this. I aim to support you to improve your difficulties as quickly as possible.
How often will I have a session?
Sessions are most helpful when they are held on a regular, weekly basis. Towards the end of therapy, it can be helpful to allow more flexibility between sessions, which will help you to practice learned coping strategies and work towards a strong ending in therapy.
How do I access sessions?
If video sessions are preferred, I will email you a Microsoft Teams link ahead of our session. You don’t need to download any software and can simply click on the link that I send to access your appointment.
In-person sessions are at the Great Well-Being Therapy Centre,
10 Great Well Drive, Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 7QP.
What are your fees?
Initially, we will meet online/by phone for a free 20-minute session to explore your needs and to decide whether you think that we will be able to work together. This also helps me to know whether I am the right therapist to support you.
My hourly fee is £85 online or £100 in-person. Payment is expected ahead of each session, by BACS.
Fees will be reviewed annually but will never be increased during your treatment.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
At least 24hrs notice is required to cancel a booked session. Missed appointments and late cancellations (less than 24hrs) are charged at £50.
